Featuring a sweet blueberry-and-bird print, the Blueberry & Bird Signature Baby Nest is a handmade portable baby nest from Lil Mulberry, crafted in GOTS-certified organic cotton. It gives your newborn a snug, womb-like space to sleep and lounge, at home or on the go.

The sleeping surface is softly quilted for extra cushioning, and the detachable mosquito net zips securely onto the base of the nest, so your baby stays protected without the net slipping or shifting.

Like everything we make, it is handmade in small batches in our Bangalore studio using baby-safe, AZO-free dyes, and ships from India worldwide.

• Co-sleep: Perfect for co-sleeping (baby sleeps between the parents on the same bed), thanks to the bumpers which provide a safe barrier.
• Better sleep: Ideal for naps. The infant's "Startle Reflex" will wake them up less often, and the quilted mattress area adds a gentle layer of cushioning under the baby.
• Protected: Zip the mosquito net onto the base of the nest for undisturbed, bite-free naps indoors or outdoors. Unzip and remove it entirely when it isn't needed.
• Portable: Two practical carry straps on the sides make it easy to carry the nest around. Can be used in a crib, stroller, sofa, on the floor.
• Storage: Comes with a muslin bag for storage when not in use, or while travelling.
• Playtime: Unfasten the buckle at the bottom and the nest opens out flat, to be used as a play-mat.
• Grows with the baby: Unfasten the buckle at the bottom as the baby grows, to open up the foot of the nest and give them more room.

• Quilted mattress area: The sleeping surface is diamond-quilted for a softer, more cushioned feel and a smooth, even lie — no bunching or shifting under the baby.
• Detachable mosquito net that zips on: The net attaches to the base of the nest with a zipper that runs all around, so it stays firmly in place and leaves no gaps at the edges. Unzip it completely to detach and store it when you don't need it.
• Comes with a zipper to remove the bumper and mattress. The cover can be washed by itself.
• Fasten the buckle at the bottom to secure the nest into proper shape. Unfasten it to open the nest out flat for playtime, or to give a growing baby more room at the foot.

• Pillow: Handmade pillow with unique design that helps position the baby’s head.
• Mosquito Net: Comes in a unique design with a second zipper to open the net from the middle, so you can reach your baby without detaching the net. The decorative hanging is a joyful addition.
• Add a nest liner: For spills and the inevitable fluid-accidents, pair your nest with a waterproof nest liner — soft, machine-washable, with rounded edges so it is easy to handle and can be used on both sides. Sold separately.

• Only wash the cotton cover. The mattress can be hand washed separately, but you do not need to wash the bumper.
• Unzip and detach the mosquito net from the base of the nest before washing.
• Remove the cover by opening the zipper at the base of the nest. Remove the mattress from the back.
• Machine wash the nest cover at max 30 C.
• Dries fast, preferable to not tumble dry, or tumble dry on a delicate setting.
• Warm iron.
• Do not soak.
• Do not bleach.

• Never leave the baby unattended.
• Do not walk around with your baby in the baby nest.
• Always place the nest on a flat surface.
• Always place the baby’s head at the top of the nest, and the feet at the opening where the strap is buckled.
• Detach the mosquito net when the nest is being used as a play-mat.

Within India – Free for total order value exceeding ₹2,500. For order value lesser than that, a nominal shipping and handling fee will be charged upon checkout.

Shipping & Timelines
Our items are made to order. We dispatch our products within 7 days from the order date, from Monday to Friday (excluding Indian public holidays), and it takes another 1 to 10 working days for the order to reach you based on your location. As soon as we ship your order, we will send you a notification by email and also share the courier tracking details so you know when to expect it.

All our products are handmade and exclusively created. Colour may vary slightly in actual product. Being a handmade product, the prints will not be identically similar all over. Please understand that this is the charm of a handmade creation and not to be frowned upon.

We are proud of our creations and their quality. Hence, we do not offer return/replacement, except extremely rare situations where you receive the wrong order, or the product has a manufacturing defect.
