What fabric are Lil Mulberry products made from?
Most of our range is made from GOTS-certified organic muslin cotton, chosen for being soft, breathable and gentle on a baby's delicate skin. Some items, such as sleep sacks, use breathable organic cotton double gauze, and our baby nests use GOTS-certified organic cotton with hypoallergenic filling.
Are your products GOTS certified and organic?
Yes. Our muslin and cotton fabrics are GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified, so the cotton is grown and processed organically to strict environmental and social standards.
Are the dyes and prints safe for babies?
Yes. All our prints and colours use non-toxic, AZO-free dyes and are OEKO-TEX certified, so they are safe against a baby's skin. Our exclusive prints are designed in-house.
Are your products handmade?
Yes. Every Lil Mulberry product is handmade in small batches in our home studio in Bangalore, India. Because each piece is handmade, slight variations in colour and print placement are natural and part of the charm.
What's unique about your products?
Our fabric is certified organic and exclusively manufactured for us. Our dyes are AZO-free, safe and non-toxic. Our prints are drawn and crafted by our in-house talent. And we pay close attention to detail on quality — trust us, we make sure you get the best quality for your baby.
Product Care
How do I wash and care for Lil Mulberry products?
For most items, machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, dry in shade, and use a gentle iron if needed. Do not bleach. Muslin gets softer and develops a beautiful puckered texture with each wash. Specific care instructions are listed on each product page.
How do I care for the baby nest and feeding pillow?
For the baby nest, only the cotton cover needs washing — remove it via the zip at the base and machine wash at a maximum of 30°C; you do not need to wash the bumper. Feeding pillows have a removable cover for easy cleaning. We recommend keeping spare nest liners and pillow covers handy for spills.
Shipping
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide from India. International shipping charges are calculated and added at checkout. Please see our shipping policy for details.
How much does shipping cost within India?
Shipping within India is free for orders over ₹2,500. For orders below that, a nominal shipping and handling fee is added at checkout.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Our products are handmade to order. We dispatch within 7 days of the order date (Monday to Friday, excluding Indian public holidays), and delivery then takes a further 1 to 10 working days depending on your location. Once your order ships, we email you a notification along with courier tracking details.
What if I need the order sooner?

Do you offer Cash on Delivery (COD)?
Yes, we offer Cash on Delivery (COD) payments.
Returns
What is your return and replacement policy?
As every item is handmade and made to order, we do not offer returns or replacements except in rare cases where you receive the wrong order or the product has a manufacturing defect. Please see our refund policy for full details, or contact us at sales@lilmulberry.com.
The colour looks slightly different from the photo — is that normal?
Yes. Because our products are handmade and hand-printed with natural, baby-safe dyes, colours may vary slightly from what you see on screen, and prints will not be identical across pieces. This is a natural characteristic of handmade goods, not a defect.
